A couple of pictures of my daughter Auri from the Winter Crossing series. I'm particularly happy with these images as they've taken on the look of an illustration from a children's book. The effect was not easy to achieve but well worth the effort.

This afternoon my daughter Auri and I did a shoot up City Creek Canyon and brought an end to the shooting for The Utah Collection. It's been a year since I started the project and it was time to wrap things up and get the book published. So here you go, some sneak previews of my daughter and muse Aurelia...
In this first picture Auri models a matching Pussy Cap and Nekker that I crocheted from cashmere, angora fur and baby alpaca.
These next two pictures will likely be included in my next book called Winter Crossing...
This is barely a hint of what's to come from my shoot with Auri today. Stay tuned as always for updates to the collection.

I met guitarist Matt Knowles about nine months ago and knew in an instant I wanted to photograph him. It took us awhile to get to it but we finally did it. Here is Matt at Horseshoe Springs in Skull Valley, Utah.
